Kevin Woest is a licensed architect, designer, and artist who specializes in architectural rendering and illustration. He has designed hotels, spas, retail stores, restaurants, residences, office spaces, and office buildings. His preferred medium is water color; however, he also works with charcoal, pen and ink, and colored pencil. His accomplished volume of work has been published in many magazines and in the New York Times. He also illustrated the famous architectural book, Why Buildings Stand Up by Mario Salvadori.
His education consists of a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree of Architecture from the University of Illinois, in Champaign -Urbana. He completed a Post-graduate study at the Architecture Association School of Architecture, London, England as well as the L’ecole Des Beaux Arts, Versailles, France. He was awarded the Lloyd Warren Fellowship of travel and study abroad for winning the 64th Paris prize in Architecture and was also awarded the Francis J. Plym prize in Architectural design. Woest has designed projects for clients throughout the United States and internationally since 1977.
Woest is a nationally certified architect with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a registered architect in New York, and Illinois. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, New York Chapter. |
